Well I was not going to post this, but after some thought, why not? It’s a panwaffle. What’s a panwaffle? Well, that’s a waffle that has the texture of a pancake! Yeap, it works! I have a bad sore throat and was thinking I want something soft to eat, but really wanted a waffle. Hmm. Most waffles are crisp on the outside if you make them right…and I didn’t want it too dry either…this is NOT dry by any means! So, it worked.
1 tsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
dash splenda (or squirt liquid)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp Torani Cinnamon Vanilla SF syrup (you can use any flavor SF syrup here, or just more sweetener if you like).
2 tbsp Califia Farms Almond Coconut Blend Milk (or milk of your choosing, remember this will alter carb count depending)
2 1/2 tbsp Carbquik (purchase on Amazon or Netrition)
1/4 scoop Isopure Zero Carb Vanilla protein powder (also purchase on Amazon)
Mix all together well. I use my Ninja (purchased on QVC, but stores sell it also if you are looking for one. They are fantastic!).
Pour into a HOT waffle iron and allow to cook until it stops steaming. smile emoticon
The waffle will be soft in texture but full of flavor and goodiness…lol. It will NOT be crispy like a normal waffle…so more of a pancake texture…but delicious nonetheless.
